History runs deep in this manufacturer of utility vehicles and trucks. Little do people know the meaning behind the name Isuzu which, in Japanese terminology, is actually a name of river which means 50 Bells.

The company is not much known for the production of sedans rather the bigger ones and most of these units run on diesel instead of gasoline. There also was a comment that the diesel was actually created for Isuzu since there is no other vehicle that would only purr when driven cross-country, off-roads as well as city driving.

A popular vehicle, the Isuzu Trooper, became an instant favorite due to its look, durability and power. It became one of Isuzu’s highest sales generators although they discontinued it to introduce different versions from the same platform. The others are CUVs or crossover utility vehicles like the Isuzu Rodeo and the Isuzu Axiom to name a few.
