A convertible version of the 575M Maranello was made. It had been named 575M Superamerica. Superamerica has electrochromic glass panel that can rotate 180 degrees at the rear. There are only 559 unit of Superamiricas and has followed Enzo Ferrari’s philosophy that when there is a high demand, there should be a lower production. A special version of the 575M was made. It was called 575 GTZ. Z stands for Zagato, the manufacturer. This model was made for Mr. Yoshiyuki Hayashi, a Japanese Ferrari Collector. This was used to commemorate the 250 range, which celebrates its 50th anniversary. This model has the Zagato trademarks, two-tone paint and the double bubble roofline.
