Aston Martin DB7 150

From 1994 until 2003, British luxury automobile manufacturer made the Aston Martin DB7. This grand tourer was available in two types, a coupé and a convertible. The DB7’s debut happened in 1993 at the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland. The DB7, which features 6 cylinders, was marketed as an “entry-level” model. The DB7 was prolifically produced by Aston Martin, with over 7,000 built, making it the most produced Aston Martin model.

The DB7 was joint effort in design by Ian Callum and Keith Helfet. DB7s were built in Aston Martin’s plant in Kidlington. The DB7 convertible, the Volante, was launched in 1996 in Detorit’s North American International Auto Show. Both convertible and coupé feature a supercharged straight-6 engine. The costs of the DB7 were $140,000 for the Coupé and $150,000 for the Volante. When the Aston Martin Vantage was launched, sales of the DB7 declined, despite its supercharged engine. Production ended in 1999, although special edition DB7s, such as Keswick Limited Edition and the 2003 Anniversary Edition were still manufactured.
