Everything is big in Texas as the locals put it. And you will realize that this saying could not be any more true than when you set foot on Houston. From the concrete edifices to the superhighway to the sprawling land that is home to a multicultural community, you’ll see how easy it is to simply be overwhelmed by the sheer size and power of this city.
Houston is home to the NASA – Johnson Space Center, a place you can visit for its larger than life ambitions of sending people to space. You’ll also notice a number of oil mines located in this area, making it one of the well to do states in the US. The city has a thriving business center which constitutes many of the states main skyscraper buildings and trade transactions. The architecture is simply astounding as it follows the trend of everything being bigger in Texas.
A visit to the city will definitely be an experience with the bustling of different activities you can partake in. Although the heat can easily take its toll on any visiting tourist, you can take refuge in their underground city. You can also catch a game at any of its giant entertainment complexes or run loose with your children at the theme parks. There are a number of museums and theaters that can satiate the cravings of even the most discerning culture critic.
Houston is the city where people like to dream large and are not afraid to follow that dream, no matter how out of this world it may seem.
