Performance
The powertrain is a plug-in hybrid system which combines a CVT (high torque compatible linear-tonic) transmission and a 2.0 liter Hybrid Subaru diesel engine.
The front motor provides the vehicle with the required drive and generation of power while the 2 independent motors produce exceptional drive. Depending on the required speed and the environment in which you are driving, the vehicle will choose which to use. It will start using the rear motors before turning it over to the front.
Exterior
The new design philosophy of found in the Subaru Viziv Concept is to allow it to survive driving in any type of terrain. It features a combination of clean lines and surfaces which balance the solid appearance of the vehicle to a compact cabin.
The front is large with an outwardly projecting grille which provides a highlight to the rest of the body. You get a dynamic side view from the solid doors and the integrated fenders.
Interior
The design on the inside portrays dynamism in road performance. It features an instrument control panel placed strategically in front of the steering wheel for easy access and viewing while driving. In addition the speedometer and the tachometer are placed at the center of the dashboard for better visibility.
Doors
It is the special feature seen on the doors that make it unique. The car has 2 doors that open similar to a “gull-wing”, four adults can easily access the inside and enjoy a great ride. What more is that there is ample room for stretching out.
