Engine

The Panamera comes with a 3.0 liter V6 engine with a total power output of 300 horsepower. Compared to the previous generation, the speed limit has been increased to 160 mph and allows it to go from 0 to 60 in 6.0 seconds.

The Porsche Diesel uses an eight-speed S transmission.

Performance

Porsche used multiple technologies to assist driving and handling. Electronically assisted steering allows better control of car behavior for tight corners during moderate to high speeds.

Aerodynamics and newly improved rear axles contribute for better road grip.

Exterior

The Panamera series follows the traditional Porsche design signatures such as the front headlights, hood shape, grill and air vents. One of the few design traits that sets it apart from other members of the Panamera line is the rear, which is slightly longer.

Built to be a 4-door luxury saloon, the rear of the car is arched more than the usual, using a different angle than their sports series. The car is indeed longer due to the fact that it is a four-door vehicle.

Interior

Porsche focused on bringing in more technologies such as dual zone climate system, a larger central control panel, USB support, and Bluetooth connection.

The seats, dashboard and doors are covered in premium leather that comes in various optional colors. Multiple decorative chrome elements have been added to the doors and between the driver and front passenger.

Easy to reach controls have been added to the steering wheel and along the doors have been added for driver convenience.

Even if the car comes with a few major visual improvements; the 2014 Porsche Panamera Diesel delivers enhanced and improved performance with the aid of a new engine. Driving and handling have been tweaked, while the diesel fuel consumption greatly extends your range.
