Porsche has continued bolstering its Panamera line since its introduction, they have done so by adding models like a Hybrid, Turbo, Turbo S and the GTS.

In 2013, Porsche will be adding yet another to the mix: 2013 Panamera Platinum Edition. The special edition will be available as a Panamera Diesel and Panamera 4.

Engine

The 2013 Panamera Platinum edition is more focused on style instead of performance. The Platinum will has a 3.6L power train that generates 300 horsepower and 295 lbs-ft of torque. The model achieves a top speed of 160 mph, and achieves a respectable 18 city and 27 highway mpg.

Exterior

The body trim comes standard with a platinum-silver metallic finish coat; all around the side and front grilles, trunk lid, mirrors and rear diffuser. The side window strips contrasts the high gloss black finish. Standard features include: Bi-xenon headlamps, 19-inch alloy-wheels and front/ rear parking assist.

There are 5 different colors you can choose from. These are the standard solid black and white colors or the optional black metallic, mahogany metallic and carbon-grey metallic.

Interior

Inside, the Platinum Edition is comes with a 2-tone finish comprising of Luxor beige and black. A partial leather interior wrap up is offered as standard and exclusively to the Platinum edition. Full-leather package is available as an option.

Other interior highlights include: 7-inch TFT touch-screen display, 11 loudspeakers, Porsche logos on custom door sills and headrests, a sport-design steering column and Porsche Communication Management that comprises of navigation unit. In addition to this, front seat heating and power steering have also been offered as standard features.

The Porsche Platinum edition isn’t focused on performance; the exterior and interior design will definitely attract the attention of many.
