The 2014 Peugeot RCZ R was first unveiled as a concept car at Paris Motor Show in 2012.
However, it has received the green light and its first debut will be in the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2013. It is a performance version of Renault’s Sports Coupe line up, one of the French car manufacturer’s popular models.

Engine
It comes with the new THP engine which releases 270 horsepower from the 1.6 liter displacement with only 145g/km of CO2. It accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in under six seconds.
This makes the Peugeot RCZ R is a very efficient car that provides optimum performance. It was assembled with a Torsen differential that promises dynamic sensations and grip efficiency at a high level.
Exterior
It comes in a matte black roof which arches distinguish and adorn it. The suspension has been lowered by around 10mm and the wheels, which are made of alloy, are 19 inches in diameter.
The alloys are bespoke that come in two tone black matte or diamond finishes. The rear spoiler is perfectly integrated to ensure a better down force when the rear is stretched.
It comes with two chromed exhaust pipes that have been located symmetrically. The exhaust has been reworked for reduced sound and improved performance.
The Peugeot RCZ R comes in four different colors; mercury grey, opal white, nera black and Moroccan red. It is also available in a range of custom made gloss or satin roof treatments and decal designs.
Interior
It boasts of sports seats made of leather or Alcantara with red stitching throughout. The gear knob is polished and pinched. The exhaust system draws engine induction noise from an intake and amplifies it into the cockpit and the steering wheel is slightly smaller compared to other cars.
The 2014 Peugeot RCZ R is expected to go on sale in March 2014 in Australia. The price will be around $58,990 but the final price is yet to be finalized.
