Peugeot’s 308 line was introduced several years ago and the model remains popular to this day.
The 2013 Peugeot 308 R Concept takes the model one step forward and incorporates a new body and fine tuning that improve the appearance and the performance of the car. Even if Peugeot did not announce any revisions of the model, the concept design offers a view of things to come from the 308.

Peugeot uses a brand new, highly efficient 1.6 liter engine which brings its total output to 270 horsepower. The engine has been coupled with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The improvements have enhanced the ride and handling of the car. With a lowered body kit and improved aerodynamics, the downforce keeps the car stable at high speeds.
Road grip is assured by the new wider tires while the braking system has been replaced with sport grade plates.
Most of the changes have been done to the exterior of the car. The 308 received a brand new body kit that makes the car appear closer to the ground. Right beneath the typical grill of the model, new larger air vents have been added.
The headlights and taillights have remained unchanged but the rear bumper is now wider and bigger. A color scheme has been introduced. In the rear portion, one-third of the car has been painted black, while the front in red.
The interior received multiple upgrades to get the car closer to how a sports version would feel, and the new racing seats will do that. An LCD screen has been added for improved ergonomics. No other details were given about other interior design upgrades.
The 2013 Peugeot 308 R Concept comes with improvements that turn the car into a genuine sports car. With the expertise of the engineering team, the car offers not only improved looks but also great performance.
