The makeover of the Senator Signature are breathtaking. A distinguishing feature that separates the Senator Signature from other Gen-F series is the single, open grille with chrome surrounding it. The luxury 20 inch forged alloy wheels with dark stainless finishing, and wrapped in continental 5P tires provides ride comfort as well as improvement in grips.

At the rear of the car, a new deck lid is complimented by unique HSV LED tail lamps and a luxury lip spoiler.

Interior

2014 BMW 5-Series Touring

The formal announcement of the 2014 BMW 5-Series Touring introduces a new and revised model that comes with several improvements over its predecessor.

For 2014, BMW has prepared more engine options, a redefined body design that features subtle changes to the exterior, and enhancements to the interior.

Engine

The most noticeable changes comes under the hood. BMW added additional options such as the new four cylinder diesel engine that brings you 143 horsepower. Average fuel consumption has been measured around 62.8 mpg and carbon emissions capped at 191 grams per mile.

The top of the line will feature a V8 engine that brings an over the top 450 horsepower that can be found in the 550i version.

Performance

Despite having an improved design that hits the road like a sports car, the 5-Series Touring rides and handles almost the same as its predecessor.

Road stability and grip is secured by the all-wheel drive and the improved aerodynamics and air intake makes it easier to control during tight corners or at high speeds.

Exterior

BMW worked on the exterior, adding new contour lines to the grill and a new lower air intake. The rear of the car now has an extra crease placed in the apron and redesigned tail lights.

Also new to the series is the integration of side indicators into the mirrors. Additionally, the German manufacturer offer two design packages.

Interior

The interior is nearly identical when compared with the previous edition. BMW did add some design elements such as a chrome trim around the control display and other minor touches. Not all trim elements will be available in the standard version but you can pick and choose which additional design elements you want included.

The German manufacturer worked on the 2014 BMW 5-Series Touring model to update it according to the new trends, focusing on fuel efficient engines and comfort.

From a design perspective, BMW added minor touches to the exterior and interior but sufficient to distinguish it from earlier models.

The idea behind the design of CC100’s engine is based entirely on the V12 Vantage. It has a capacity of 6.0 liters and gives you up to 500 horsepower.

The engine is fixed on an aluminum chassis that’s rigid and is aided by a sequential automated-manual gearbox accompanied by paddle shifters. This set up is just enough to give the CC100 an acceleration of up to 62 miles per hour in just 4.0 seconds according to Aston Martin.

The CC100’s body is entirely new and is completely made of carbon fiber provided by Multimatic Inc. It was designed and built at Aston Martin’s global headquarters in less than six months.

Mercedes-Benz will launches its new S-Class in a rear-wheel-drive S550 and the all-wheel-drive S550 4Matic models. The S550 will use 4.7-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that is rated at around 455 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. This torque is available from 1800rpm to 3500 rpm.

The S550s can scoot to around 60 mph from just a 4.8 seconds stop before it tops out at the limited 130mph. Also included is an 8-speed automatic gear box. The S-Class also includes a multi-task front plus rear suspension with some air springs and an damping shock absorbers that are adjustable.

The more economical S350 with a 3.0 liter V6 turbodiesel BlueTec engine is available. This model gives you a healthy 240 horsepower and a more than adequate 455 lb-ft of torque.

Inside this S-class, you will find a two 2.3″ widescreen display (TFT) at the front plus at the top of center panel. This offers you and your passengers all the information you need.

2013 Renault Twin-Run Concept

While the chances of the 2013 Renault Twin-Run Concept car being offered as a production vehicle are a long shot, some features of the latest concept provides a glimpse into Renaults future plans.

As for now, the Twin-Run Concept is considered more of a tribute by the French automaker to the R5 Turbo and the Clio V6. This is more of a race car than an everyday city vehicle. As a matter of fact, it made its debut running laps at the Monaco Grand Prix in May.

The Renault Concept measures just less than 145 inches in length and is 68.9 inches wide. It weighs in at just above 2,094 pounds. The façade of the car includes 4 additional extra-flat headlamps utilizing LED technology.

The cars nose is diamond-like and the entire vehicle is fitted with an aerodynamic package to insure optimum speed can be achieved. The concept car is painted in an attractive light blue that goes well with red stripe accents around the body.

Interior

The interior was prepared in race car fashion. It contains SPARCO seats complete with a safety harness. It has a motorsports steering wheel and a sequential gear lever that is intentionally mounted high to accommodate quick changes.

Floor pedals are made of aluminum and the instrument panel is specially constructed for easy monitoring. Both door panels and dashboard are covered in suede. The padded bucket seats proudly display the “Twin Run” insignia.
