The rear suspension has been completely replaced, and uses a segment system to create a smoother ride. This has been achieved by replacing the coil spring with an air suspension unit. The engineers have managed to do this without any degradation in performance. 

The new suspension system also leverages the use of air pressure to include load-leveling capability. The truck will detect extra load on the rear axle and automatically adjust the air pressure in the suspension system to level the truck, improving stability and drive comfort.

Intake System

The 2014 2500 Heavy Duty features an innovative, variable air intake system that is such a good idea it is amazing that nobody thought of introducing it before.

There are 4 engine options available on the 2014 Insignia. The most economical is the 2.0 liter, 118 horsepower CDTi ecoFLEX, stop/start manual. This engine delivers an amazing 76 mpg with a minimal CO2 emission.

If you prefer a little more power there are also a 1.6 liter, 168 horsepower SIDI and a 2.0L turbo generating 246 horsepower.

Exterior
