The Bentley Turbo R is a high performance car manufactured by Bentley Motors Limited in between the years 1985-1997.

The Bentley Turbo R is the predecessor of Mulsanne Turbo and the Bentley Turbo R features the Mulsanne’s bodywork.

The Bentley Turbo R featured a 6.75L Rolls-Royce V8 engine with Bosch MK-Motronic injection and three speed automatic transmission. The engine delivered an output power of 296 hp and 486.8 lb-ft torque. It was priced at $145,000.

The car also featured tuned dampers at the front and rear and a Panhard rod.

The only version in the Bentley Turbo R is the “New Turbo R” launched in the year 1995. The only changes compared to the Bentley Turbo R are it featured a four speed automatic transmission and Zytec fuel injection.

Bentley Turbo R Racing at Le Mans

The super car was produced by Nissan in 2003, and it`s available in 2 versions, first version is FX35 and second FX45. The second version Fx45 uses a 4500 V8 engine (315 Horsepower) with a five speed automatic transmission and the Fx35 is powered by a 3,5 L V6 engine.
In 2006 both of cars (Fx35 and Fx45) were upgraded with new options, the Fx45 engine engages now 320 Horsepower, more with 5 hp .

When we talk about the performance of the Fx series, we must say that Fx35 has a max speed of 137 mp/h, reaches 100 km/h in 7 seconds and Fx45 has a top speed similar with FX 35, but it's touching 100 Km/h in 6,3 seconds.
Similar cars with Fx series are Bmw X5 and Lexus Gx. It`s not a real super car but it's features makes us think otherwise.

The production of Mercedes Benz CLK CTR started in 1997,25 cars were built for Gt1. The 6 L(6800) V12 engine engages 612 horsepower at 6500 rpm, and the top speed is 200 mph, (340 km/h).
The super car uses a six speed manual transmission and it can reach a speed of 60 mph in 3,8 seconds. Another variant of Mercedes Benz Clk Gtr was a 7,3 V12 similar with other super cars like Zonda or Ferrari.

McLaren F1 is the most powerful supercar produced by McLaren between the years 1994-1998, from the 100 cars: 65 are street versions, 5 are LMs (which was build to honor victory at Le Mans in 1995) and 3 are Gts (the road versions of the 1997 F1 GTR racing car) and 28 F1 GTR made for the roads.
The Chief Engineer Gordon Murroy`s concept refers to the use of expensive materials like: carbon, titanium, gold and for the first time, the use of carbon fiber monocoque chassis.

Power? Here is a good question, the car has the power output at 627 horsepower or has an imperial HP. The super car is powered by an 6 L V12 engine built by BMW, 627 HP at 7400 rmp, same as road car version.

The car has a top speed of 386 km/h or 240 mph (very good speed for 1994) and can reach a speed of 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds, 200 km/h in 6.7 seconds and 300 km/h in 30 seconds. The McLaren F1 was the fastest car in the world until Bugatti Veyron was introduced.

When it was first introduced, it was priced at $970,000. This type of car is not produced anymore and it is very rare to find one of these on the market.
