2009 Superior 54 Sport Wagon

The idea of the Superior 54 Sport Wagon has begun in the 1980s and over the years the project has been left out. Finally in the year 2004 the project was again considered and it took another five years for the project to hit the roads.

The car is a combination of the old and new edge technology. The plug on the body was made of steel, fiberglass, foam, body filler and wood. These objects are hand made by using the simple tools. The next segment in the project featured the faultless plug equipped with a 3-D scanner that gives a perfect data of the cars body.

The car was built based on the old corvette and the suspensions were placed under the skin, later the chassis was developed on which the car runs now. The idea for the design of the Superior 54 is based on the legendary corvette that was introduced at the 1954 Motorama show.

The roof height is six feet and a bit wider compared to the corvette, sliding windows are functional and installed, single piece fiberglass lies on the frame lines, dashboard has been widened, suspensions feature the coil over shocks, power widows became as standard, engine has been coupled with six speed transmission, wheels consisted of disc brakes and it featured a shorter wheelbase.
