2013 Nissan IDx Freeflow Concept

On November 20, 2013, Nissan released an impressive new concept car called the Nissan IDx Freeflow. This model is focused on a more casual approach and combines a stunning exterior appearance resembling older style muscle cars, with a classy interior for a luxurious ride.

Nissan designed the IDx Freeflow to be a casual lifestyle car that gives you superior quality and unparalleled style. To help convey their ideals behind the design, the name IDx translates to: the “ID” standing for identification; and the “x” as symbol for the variable representing vision and values the car represents.

Exterior

While Nissan released a second sportier version of the IDx Freeflow called the IDx NISMO, it is the IDx Freeflow that will likely catch your eye. It maintains a cool appearance without the aggressiveness of the IDx NISMO.

The front looks like a cross between a Dodge Charger and a Mustang. The entire car is detailed with subtle and fluid lines going down the side and below the dark tinted windows.

Overall the sleek exterior on the IDx Freeflow is elegant and clean with its sharp lines and a cross between various color combinations.

Interior

The dark navy blue and charcoal grey stands out in stark contrast to the light khaki trim around the car. The steering wheel, buttons, and a handles are all in a tasteful beige color while the seats themselves are covered in a denim material complete with zippers and light side stitching.

The front two seats are amply padded and are separated by a larger center console with the gear shift on it. To enter the rear, passengers simply need to pull the easily marked khaki colored strap on the front seat and it reveals two additional seats in the rear.

You will find bucket seats in the rear layed out in a bench configuration, removing the third, center seating option in favor for more space and additional padding for the other two.
