2013 Mini Countryman Cooper ALL4

The 2013 Mini Countryman Cooper ALL4 is intended to be out by the third quarter of 2013. It is the ALL4 version of the standard Countryman Cooper.

The Mini Countryman was unveiled in 2010 during the Geneva Motor Show.

Engine

The Countryman Cooper ALL4 is powered by an impressive 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. A standard countryman with an output of 122 horsepower while the S version has 184 horsepower.

The ALL4 ‘s 122 horsepower is complemented with 118 pound-feet of torque. It comes in a six-speed manual transmission version or a six-speed automatic transmission version. It provides power to all four wheels using the permanent all-wheel-drive system.

Performance

Mini Coopers have always been a joy to drive. The Countryman ALL4 is no exception. It handles very well on all types of road surfaces. With the manual transmission version, it can do 0 – 60 mph in 11.9 seconds.

The automatic version is 0.2 seconds slower. It can hit a high speed of 114 mph and has extra grip, especially on winding roads. With the new all-wheel-drive system, the driver has control over any type of surface including snow and other slippery conditions.

Exterior

The Countryman is slightly larger as compared to other Mini models. It still has a very compact exterior and is eye-catching on the road. The ALL4’s exterior has been upgraded to suit its off-road capabilities. It is much lighter than the standard Countryman.

This particular Countryman Cooper ALL4 fashions dark matte black body and a mean looking paint-job.

Interior

As for the interior, little has changed; it still is the same as the standard Countryman. Mini made a special edition in celebration of the Dakar Rally Winner.
