Inspired from the residence address of Sherlock Holmes, the Mini Baker Street sports a new exterior look, and interior detailed design.

It will be available in the Spring of 2012, but will be produced as a limited edition vehicle, so it would be wise to order one now.

BMW has made the Mini Baker Street with four engine variants, and is similar to their Mini Hardtop model, yet offering even better performance.

Exterior

With an exterior paint shade of metallic Rooftop Grey, character is added with special stripes in a V-shape on the hood. The black roof is enhanced with the matching exterior mirror caps in black also. Its bold appearance is set off with 16″ twin-spoke, 6-star, alloy wheels which are painted in glossy black.

The Mini Baker can be ordered with car body shades of Midnight Black, and Pepper White. “Baker Street” lettering is also visible on the side of the car, making it one of a kind.

Interior

The newly designed interior is comfortable and classy, matching the gray exterior, and trimmed in chrome. The look is roomy, and the “Pepper Pack” and “Chrome Line Exterior Package” offer luxury within, such as:

• Cloth and leather bolster seats, in a gray diamond pattern
• Chrome Line Interior
• Air conditioning
• On-board computer
• Leather steering wheel
• Stainless steel pedals
• Front fog lamps
• Passenger seat lighting/height adjustment
• Six-speed manual gearbox, or optional six-speed automatic

Performance

The 2012 Mini Baker Street comes with different engine choices. The variants in engines are: Mini One/98 horsepower, Mini Cooper/122 horsepower, Mini One D/90 horsepower, and Mini Cooper D/112 horsepower.

As mentioned earlier, the Mini Baker Street will be produced as a limited edition, only a limited number of cars will be made, so the early ordering option is necessary. The car has a sporty and classy look and a name with character to go with it, you add BMW performance, it is definitely a unique ride.
