Engine & Performance

The 2012 C-Class is available in a couple of different engine. The C250 trims are fitted with a 1.8L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that generates 201 horsepower and 229 lbs-ft of torque. This engine is hooked up to a 7-speed automatic gearbox, while a rear wheel drive is also standard. This trim nets a fuel economy of 21/31 mpg city/highway.

The most powerful engine is the 6.2L V8 engine which is available in the C63 AMG Black models. This engine makes 510 horsepower and 457 lbs-ft of torque, thereby making it quicker than other models.

Exterior
