Engine

The new super-charged Jaguar engine comes equipped with the intelligent stop-start system for enhancing fuel economy under specific driving conditions.

The engine is 5.0 liter supercharged V8 that produces 495hp and 460 ft-lbs of torque. It has high compression ratio at 9.5:1, dual independent cam-timing, direct fuel injection and supercharger to maintain high efficiency and performance level.

Exterior

It has everything designed in a way that it is visually exciting whether physical or visceral. The headlights run vertically instead of horizontal, this leads your eye to look up naturally along the fender-crease.

Technology has helped in its design since only one projector is required for the compact-xenon unit. The grille leans forward slightly making the car appear as if it is in motion when stationary.

The design is also supported by automatically deploying hidden handles. This model has four outboard mounted-exhaust outlets with two outlets on each side.

Braking

It uses the Super-High Performance Brake system with the best set of brake-discs which are large and fitted as a standard including the 14.8-inch rear and 15-inch front.

Design

Jaguar engineers have used aluminum for the body structure as it is rigid and light. Some parts use an aluminum alloy to achieve the expected goals of the car.

This has contributed to an overall weight of 3521 pounds concentrating much of this weight on the wheel base. This was achieved by minimizing the rear and front overhangs which also improves stability and agility.

Driver Friendly

It has an asymmetric cabin layout reflecting a sharp-focus on the driver. It allows maximum concentration on the driving experience by having an envelope-cockpit for him with all controls grouped logically, that allows you to handle the F Type quite naturally.
