Australian carmaker Holden Special Vehicles has announced a new series of its Maloo brand calling this version Generation F. Included in this group is the 2014 HSV Gen-F Maloo R8 SV.
This new era of the Gen-Fr vehicles, which the Maloo R8 SV represents, showcases the extensive changes to both the outside and interior styling. Significant technological advancements have been used to bring one of the best cars outside Europe and the USA.

Engine & Performance
The 2014 Gen-F Maloo R8 SV is powered by the E-Series 6.2L, V8, LS3 Generation engine. This engine packs plenty of power at 462 horsepower. A TR6060 Tremec 6 speed manual transmission is standard with a 6L80E 6 speed automatic offered as an option.
Technological additions include front and rear park assist, push button start and side blind zone alerts.
Exterior
The HSV Gen-F Maloo R8 SV has a redesigned grille separated by a vertical bar dividing it into two sections. It sits high atop the façade at even level with the wing-like headlamp cases on either side of it.
The daytime running lamps can now be utilized in conjunction with the headlights. The lower extremities of the front end are imposing. The aerodynamic color coded bumper is divided by a “pitch black” insert that showcases the face of this mean machine.
The side view is sleek, featuring gloss black 20 inch rims holding Continental 5P tires to the ground. These “boots” are wider and higher than your standard wheels. This makes them not only sharp in appearance but functional as well, affording a safe and comfortable ride.
Interior
Many changes have been made inside the 2014 HSV Gen-F Maloo R8 SV. Some of which include updated sports seats, as well as improvements involving the center console, gauges and instrument panel/clusters.
New treatments all around add to the vehicle’s high end appeal.
Unique
A distinctive characteristic that is now present on all Gen-F models is the rear diffuser that encompasses the intrepidly designed quad exhaust openings. A sleek tonneau cover is now attached to the vehicles cargo bed increasing carrying capabilities and overall flexibility of use.
The rear itself is simply stated with nicely contoured lines. The “R8 SV” and “340” badges in and of themselves provide a sporty touch to the rear plane.
