2012 Ferrari 599 GTB 60F1

Ferrari has always been synonymous to Formula 1 racing.

In fact, Ferrari’s F1 involvement has spanned 60 years, an achievement that is nothing to sneeze at.

To commemorate this, Ferrari has created a limited edition model.

That car is the Ferrari 599 GTB 60F1.

Classic Styling

The 60F1 is part of Ferrari’s new Tailor Made program that encourages clients to personalize their car according to their own specification. This customization is not new to Ferrari as it has existed in the 50s and 60s.

Now, with the Tailor Made program, this exclusive feature is making a comeback, allowing clients to select all kinds of options to make their ride stand out and make it completely theirs. Everything from the outside to the inside can be customized, with near-infinite combinations possible.

As for the 60F1 itself, it uses the sublime 599 GTB as the base for this creation. This is then equipped with an HGTE package which features a lower ride stance, stiffer suspension settings, and tires with stronger grip. There are 3 liveries used for this special model, reliving 2 distinct generations of Ferrari’s F1 history.

Interior & Exterior

The 375F1 livery is a salute to the first win of the Ferrari Formula 1 program, achieved by Froilan Gonzalez at Silverstone in 1951. The 150 Italia meanwhile, is a salute to Fernando Alonso’s win in 2011 at Silverstone, exactly 60 years after that landmark first victory. A race ready interior complete with racing seats, safety harnesses, and Alcantara trim is standard equipment for all 60F1 models.
