Citroen has chosen the Good-Wood Festival Of Speed, an annual meeting of historic racing cars, to reveal the 2013 Citroen DS3 Cabrio Racing Concept.
This new concept car combines the best of the Citroen DS3 racing with all the complexity of the DS3 Cabrio.
This concept may be one of the most interesting models from Citroen.

Engine
The engine is located in the front and it is transversely mounted. The performance of the racing version is maintained by the base 1.6 liter 4-cylinder-engine. With a little tweaking, it is capable of delivering a total of 202 horsepower even in its configuration as a straight 4.
Citroen Racing Concept know-how takes center stage, with brakes, a carbon kit and special running gear.
Exterior
The concept makes a spectacular first impression, mainly because of its sporting appeal and customization. It has grey paintwork, combined with black 19” alloy wheels, boot trims, door mirrors and Black Chrome insets on the handles.
Weight
The car weighs 25 kg more than the hatchback, for an agile and exceptionally lively performance.
Interior
It is a DS through and through with bold identity statements such as a DS pattern featured in gloss weave on the black canvas roof, Carmin colored brake calipers and the high-tech carbon fiber are engraved in the door mirror housings.
It combines elegance and performance with the use of bucket seats that features a new take on the DS watch strap design in three types of fabric namely; Alcantara, DS-embossed leather and Napa full-grain leather.
Special DS pearl top stitching is featured in Carmin for the first time on the shifter, dashboard and seats. Another smart design feature fitting to the lifestyle practicalities is a child seat in three- material watch-strap design leather upholstery that is coordinated to the seats and rally helmets.
