2011 Chevrolet Camaro Red Zone Concept

The Chevrolet Camaro has been with us for the better part of 50 years. Ever since it was introduced in the mid 60s as a rival to the Mustang, the Camaro has enjoyed immense popularity with the enthusiast crowd.

The Red Zone Concept Camaro is an expression of that feeling with a host of new accessories that bring excitement to the simple joys of driving.

The new color employed is called Crystal Claret and it feels like you are looking at a big chunk of ruby. This is enhanced by a careful selection of rims from Chevrolet that is finished in silver with a polished face.

Different Look

The entire car is lowered using a Pedders kit. This kit is an official Chevrolet licensed product and it was made to lower the car and at the same time, improved its handling characteristics. The car also has a strut tower brace that effectively prevents any lateral movement of the front suspension assembly during harsh cornering, thereby allowing the front wheels to contact the road the way the suspension was designed for doing.

Stripes

Other noteworthy thing to note is the heritage stripes that you can see on the car. These stripes have an almost 30 year history that is attached to Camaro and it continues with this special edition Red Zone Concept Camaro.

One of the highlights of the car is the titanium leather interior with silver ice inserts and black leather instrumentation.
