2011 Chevrolet Camaro 1LE Concept

This car was designed to race. This is the 1LE Concept Camaro. You may have heard of it before. This version of the venerable Camaro is not just a pony car. This has become a track and street machine that can run with the best; and allow you to cruise in style.

New Features

The car features a new paint color called Victory Red, a black hood and hash mark extensions. Other things to note on this model is the use of a six speed transmission, sport suspension package featuring magnetic ride control, an electric power steering system, dual exhausts that came from the ZL1, lightweight 20 inch rims riding on Goodyear Eagle F1 supercar tires, Brembo 6 piston front calipers on a two piece rotor and a 4 piston caliper on a one piece rotor for the rear.

The car also comes with a shock tower brace, a Chevrolet performance red engine cover, a performance pedal kit, flat bottom steering wheel, black leather interior and a matching Graphite silver door and instruments panel inserts.

Appeal

This makes it visually appealing whenever you drive around town, as well as a speed demon on the race track. The combination of the suspension package and the strut tower brace makes for a very responsive handling characteristic on the road, with the brace acting to prevent the distances of the shock absorbers from changing. This brace effectively prevents the wheel angle from ever changing in any sheer load that is applied to the suspension.
