2014 Buick LaCrosse

The introduction of the 2014 Buick LaCrosse is a giant step forward for the Buick brand towards entering the realm of its General Motors family Cadillac, not to mention the likes of Lexus and Lincoln.

This full size luxury sedan is replete with all the amenities one would expect from a car of this class. When this model goes on sale during the summer it should surpass the already healthy number of the LaCrosse previously purchased since its inception in 2009.

Engine & Performance

The 2014 Buick LaCrosse comes standard with a 2.4 liter, 4 cylinder engine that generates 186 HP. Another option is that of the 3.6 liter, 6 cylinder version with an output of 304 horses.

Both are paired with a 6 speed automatic transmission. The front wheel drive handles well with any of the 18, 19 or 20 inch wheels available. All wheel drive is offered as an upgrade.

Exterior

As the 2014 Buick LaCrosse approaches, the first thing you will notice is the attractive waterfall grille. The Buick logo is displayed proudly and prominently in its center. Then in the evening your attention may be drawn to the new elegantly styled wing shaped LED headlamps. Day or night you can't miss the newly sculpted hood.

The rear is accentuated with chrome all across the bottom portion of the trunk lid. The chrome strip is a continues from the top of the wraparound LED taillights. Once again the Buick logo is featured on the center rear deck which is topped off with an integrated rear spoiler.

The spoiler and LED tail lamps are both distinctive and functional. The spoiler increases the cars aerodynamics and the LED brake lights illuminate instantaneously.

Interior

On the inside of the 2014 Buick LaCrosse, the mood is modern and distinguished. The center of the dash features an eight inch color touch screen. It is set up similarly to a smart phone with easy navigation through swipe technology.

The front seats are comfortable and the headrests can be set 4 ways for optimum comfort. A seat memory function is also present. The headrests in the back seats can be folded down for improved rear visibility.
