Engine & Performance
The engine of the TT quattro Sport Concept combines a four cylinder Turbo, 2.0 TFSI that supplies a powertrain with 414 horsepower at 6,700 rpm with 333 lbs ft of torque at 2,400 to 6,300 rpm, representing the newest standard set in the two-liter category.
The engine of this sport concept car has a power output of 155 kW per liter, more than the 2001 Le Mans R18 racing car, which was when Audi combined the FSI with a turbo-charged engine based on the EA888 technology for the first time.
This 2014 sports car can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in only 3.7 seconds.
The exterior design of the TT quattro Sport Concept is characterized by a distinctive, wide and dark-colored diamond-pattern single frame grill with a frame displaying the TT quattro logo, 21-inch wheels featuring semi-slick tires and a central locking system as well as consistent air intakes resembling inserted air boxes, also featuring diamond-pattern grilles.
The rear diffuser, splitter and the lower segments are made of carbon-fiber reinforced polymer. The paint finish of this concept car is Crystal White, which adds sublimely to the athletic silhouette of this sports car.
The interior of the 2014 Audi TT quattro Sport Concept has been minimalized to the basic essentials of a true racing car and features a compact steering wheel housing the red start/stop button.
They have added a diagonal strip of Alcantara that serves as the door pull handle. Speakers and armrests have been removed from the door panels. The controls are designed exclusively for the driver.
The seats are in fact racing bucket seats and feature 4-point seat belts with black with white stripes. The 12.3-inch display of the entirely digital instrument cluster showcases various views for the driver.
