Exterior & Interior
The 2013 DB9 is aimed at the GT luxury market and the features that come with it clearly demonstrate this goal. The car has 20-inch alloy wheels available in a selection of different styles.
Upholstery and the steering wheel are done in leather. The sports seats, fitted with side airbags, are power adjustable and have a memory function. There is a wide selection of optional equipment offered for this Aston Martin. You can opt to have a reversing assist camera fitted; two optional carbon fiber packs are available, one for inside the car and one for the exterior.
The exterior pack includes a rear diffuser and a front splitter, tailpipe covers with graphite finish, and caps and arms for the mirrors. The interior pack comes with an upper fascia, door pulls and selector paddles for the gears.
The DB9 is fitted as standard with CCM (Carbon Ceramic Matrix) calipers and disks manufactured by Brembo. CCM is made from a mixture of carbon fiber and silicon. This material makes the discs and calipers far stronger than those made from traditional cast iron. It is also considerably lighter than cast iron, reducing the overall weight of the car.
The material conducts heat far more efficiently, giving you a much improved braking performance. Additional cooling of the brakes is achieved by forcing air to the discs via intakes located below the front grille.
