Engine

The debut model uses a 150 horsepower 2.0 liter engine with a small-sized turbocharger. A Common Rail injection system was used to gain better control over the fuel output that carries it to the combustion chamber.

The TCT transmission works as either in full automatic or in sequential mode.

Performance

The aerodynamics of the car provides enough downforce to ensure stability. While the weight has been reduced, road grip has not been affected.

In addition, a new Dual Pinion system was put in place to improve steering, combined with a new suspension configuration.

Exterior

The front of the car features a triangular grille that splits the air vent integrated in the bumper in two.

Chrome frames were likewise used for the grille and around the fog lights. The entire front of the car features fluid lines, while the side features a more edgy look.

Interior

As a standard feature, the Giulietta comes with a brown leather theme used on the dashboard, door panels, and seats. The traditional gauges and instrument panels have been replaced with sporty looking panel.

A similar design, such as the LCD screen and chrome elements around the gearshift handle, are clearly defined.

Even if the 2014 edition of the Giulietta introduces multiple elements that are common in sports cars, it still remains a viable city car.

These additions serve the brand right, adding stability, improved control and comfort while driving in the city or even on the highway at high speeds.

The 2014 Alfa Romeo Giulietta also features optimized fuel consumption despite the engine upgrade it received.
